Job Description:

Shop Manager Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Shop Manager Trainee. As a Shop Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of a fast-paced service shop, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of technicians to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting and Training: Assist in the recruitment and training of new crew members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and perform technical tasks.
  • Scheduling and Payroll: Create and manage crew schedules, submit payroll, and ensure accurate and timely payment to crew members.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks, place orders, and restock inventory as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Financial Management: Analyze shop financials, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures to drive results.
  • Employee Development: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop training plans to enhance crew member skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver in and out of a shallow pit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with crew members, customers, and management.
  • Computer Skills: Must have basic computer operating skills and be proficient in using software applications related to inventory management, payroll, and financial analysis.
