About the Role

Groundswell is seeking a highly skilled SAP Defense Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and documenting SAP S/4HANA Defense and Security functionality based on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Defense and Security functionality to meet business requirements
  • Participate in design workshops to define process design and technical requirements
  • Review and develop deliverables throughout the project using Agile process
  • Identify and resolve design issues and provide feedback for design reviews
  • Work with clients and project teams to ensure components work together to satisfy objectives
  • Provide technical requirements to development teams and oversee solution development
  • Conduct working sessions with Subject Matter Experts to identify required capabilities and impacts
  • Define and design system configuration, enhancements, and modifications
  • Design and develop test plans, execute test scenarios, and document test results
  • Support enhancement requests and resolve reported incidents within defined service level agreements
  • Provide support for continuous DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline releases and participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Prepare progress reports for internal leadership and clients, and monitor project progress
  • Mitigate risks, address issues, interface with clients, and keep leadership informed on project status
  • Develop basis of estimates and program schedules for multiple solution alternatives
  • Author white papers, root cause analysis, and other solution-related documentation as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)
  • Possess an active DoD security clearance or candidate must be clearable
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in ERP SAP implementations
  • 5+ years' experience of SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • 3+ years in SAP experience in D&S, EWM, SD, MM, and TM
  • Experience with Greenfield implementations
  • Experience in agile development implementation, preferably SAFe and/or DevSecOps
  • Flexibility to travel as required

  • Preference given to candidates with current or recent federal or DoD experience

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $151,000 - $212,886.00.
