About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our Care Services team at Boots. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, providing exceptional customer care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the day-to-day operations of the Care Services pharmacy, ensuring seamless delivery of services to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with care home customers, store teams, and GP surgeries to drive business growth and retention.
  • Provide timely and effective resolution of customer queries and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support dispensing duties, including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions, and collecting prescriptions.
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Manager to develop and implement business strategies, driving growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent) - NVQ3 preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full driving license, with a willingness to visit care homes and other locations as required.
