Business Development Manager

Blew & Associates, a leading full-service Surveying, Engineering and Environmental firm, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and retaining a quality client base, comprised of REIT's, Owner Developers, Private Equity, Law Firms, Title Companies, Corporations and Lenders, with significant commercial real estate portfolio holdings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new business and grow existing relationships
  • Communicate proactively with clients and respond in a timely manner to their needs
  • Compile lists of prospective customers and develop a call and travel plan to engage with qualified leads
  • Assess individual client needs and develop, present and implement a plan to satisfy those needs
  • Stay highly visible in the market by attending commercial real estate industry functions
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to listen to customers and understand their needs
  • Demonstrates poise and resolve in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates persistence, tenacity and consistency in pursuing client prospects
  • Flexible and able to adapt strategy to ever-changing conditions
  • Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Detail Oriented and able to take direction and grow with the company
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
