Key Responsibilities:


The Client Account Specialist supports both the KeHE Account Manager and the Customer's team in compiling, processing, and analyzing data related to the sales and marketing of products for the Customer's account.

Responsibilities are fulfilled by collaborating to create an environment that aligns with the KeHE Mission and Values.

Core Functions:
Exhibit a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Work with KeHE account managers and vendors to create monthly promotional initiatives.

Enter promotional agreements and allowance amounts into various systems.


Maintain databases for promotions, pricing alterations, cost adjustments, item updates, and other sales and marketing data.


Assist the team by preparing and submitting customer setup forms, promotional documents, pricing requests, and new item submissions.

Support the KeHE Account Manager in executing company sales and marketing initiatives for the Customer chain.

Process various requests, including but not limited to sample requests, credits, reporting, and data collection.


Keep track of information for billing or audit purposes related to pricing or promotional entries.

Coordinate the execution of merchandising activities, including but not limited to planograms, new product launches, advertisements, grand openings, and customer requests.

Observe competitor actions, suggest strategies to address these activities, and implement approved plans.

Assist KeHE Account Managers in coordinating activities and communications among vendors and company departments to ensure Customer account satisfaction.

This may involve:
creating reports to identify opportunities for sales growth.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Aptitude:
High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including advanced formulas, VLOOKUPs, tables, conditional formatting, charting, pivot tables, and reporting.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in grocery product sales to chain accounts.

Understanding of category management with strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills. Familiarity with computer software, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Ability to quickly adapt to shelf merchandising tools.

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.

Proven ability to identify and pursue business opportunities proactively, acting swiftly and decisively when necessary.

Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of work and meet urgent deadlines.

Ability to work independently.

Demonstrated accountability for personal actions, decisions, and outcomes.

Strong oral and written communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels.

Proficient in conducting effective meetings and delivering clear and concise presentations.

Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, along with interpersonal skills.


Ability to engage with a diverse group of individuals and contribute to a collaborative work environment - must be a team player.


Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, focusing on those with the greatest business impact, including anticipating challenges and taking preventive measures to avoid crises whenever possible.


Demonstrated ability to identify long-term issues, develop and implement strategies to address these issues, and connect shorter-term activities to these strategies.
