Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify their insurance information.
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Ensure the waiting area and reception counter are tidy and well-maintained throughout the day.
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Order clinic office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a well-stocked reception area.
  • Sell and track cosmetic products, providing excellent customer service and promoting products effectively.
  • Distribute mail, manage correspondence, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Prepare for next-day scheduled appointments, ensuring a seamless transition and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including printers, scanners, and phones.
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm or higher preferred.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well in a team environment.
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times, with a friendly, cheerful, and polite demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors.
