Role Description:

The Senior Director/Director of Product Marketing will play a pivotal role in defining the strategy and supporting the execution of our marketing go-to-market efforts. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will be responsible for driving messaging, content strategy, and programs to reach developers and CIO/CTOs, positioning our cloud native application development and delivery solutions as the partner of choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product marketers in the definition and effective execution of the marketing strategy, fostering an environment of creativity and experimentation to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing plan, including product positioning, messaging, and content creation, to drive customer engagement and acquisition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, partner, and professional services, to develop a customer journey that attracts, delights, and inspires customers to build value for their customers and their business.
  • Drive alignment and influence across the organization to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and manage a team of product marketers, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, using this knowledge to inform and adjust the marketing strategy as needed.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, using data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize future efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, sales, or go-to-market background, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and customer engagement.
  • Experience marketing to developer and IT Executive audiences, with knowledge of cloud native, open source, Kubernetes, and developer tool ecosystems.
  • Demonstrable expertise in all areas of product marketing, including product positioning, messaging, content creation, enablement, customer and competitive intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leaders, cross-functional partners, customers, and partners.
  • Experience in building scalable programs and driving cross-functional alignment, with a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
