Job Overview

As a Construction Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for managing a range of advanced heavy machinery in a secure and efficient manner, ensuring the successful execution of our excavation, utility, paving, and concrete operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate various heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
  • Conduct rough and finish grading.
  • Manage the unloading of material deliveries.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols, as safety is our top priority.
  • Maintain clear communication with on-site team members to ensure safety and accuracy in work execution.
  • Perform backfilling tasks safely and effectively without damaging existing installations.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to confirm proper operational status.
  • Clean machinery as per the scheduled maintenance plan.
  • Safely park and store equipment at the end of each workday.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Accept guidance from supervisors.
  • Work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs; exposure to loud environments, dust, and hazardous materials; ability to work in confined spaces.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery on large-scale civil projects.
  • Understanding of civil site operations, including earthwork and project coordination.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment and its applications.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, composed under pressure, and efficient in task execution.
