Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Field Engineer/Construction Assistant to join our team at Turner Construction. As a key member of our field operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Operations Support: Assist in the implementation of site safety programs, ensuring compliance with Turner safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Contract Document Management: Maintain and update contract documents, electronic web-based documents, and project logs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communication and Coordination: Assist in preparing and distributing information required for construction, including Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) and other project-related documents.
  • Quality Control: Review all work as it is being placed to ensure it meets accepted tolerances and is in accordance with contract documents.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation of project as-builts and other final records, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements
  • Education: Two years of college education from an accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and proficiency with computer applications.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be on-site at construction work sites, where you will be exposed to various conditions, including moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, and outside weather conditions.
