Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Central Territory. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple stores, driving business growth, and developing strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the forecasting and setting of product acquisition, production, and sales goals for each store. Coordinate with the Director of Operations/Production Supervisor and/or Expediter needs for stores and work to ensure prompt scheduled deliveries to all stores.
  • Financial Management: Work with the Director of Operations/Administrator to create and manage all store budgets. Ensure that income and expense are within budget parameters and review monthly budget reports to identify areas of success or concern.
  • Personnel Management: Recruit, interview, recommend for hire, train, and supervise all Store Managers. Oversee and manage the recruitment process for store staffing and ensure that stores are sufficiently staffed.
  • Program Development: Work with the ARC Director for Rehabilitative Services to assign, supervise, and train beneficiaries to stores to maximize work therapy goals.
  • Property and Equipment: Oversee property maintenance for stores, coordinating with the Director of Operations and Maintenance teams. Ensure that stores comply with all OSHA and Salvation Army safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: An associate's degree in business administration, retail sales, or marketing is preferred; 2 years of experience in staff management and development or a combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License. Able to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army. Safe From Harm Trainer.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel. Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to become proficient in other proprietary software programs.
Working Conditions

The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. May stand for extended periods. Full-time position; will require some weekend and evening work.
