Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Central Territory. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple stores, driving business growth, and developing strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the forecasting and setting of product acquisition, production, and sales goals for each store. Coordinate with the Director of Operations/Production Supervisor and/or Expediter needs for stores and work to ensure prompt scheduled deliveries to all stores.
  • Financial Management: Work with the Director of Operations/Administrator to create and manage all store budgets. Ensure that income and expense are within budget parameters and review monthly budget reports to identify areas of success or concern.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, interview, recommend for hire, train, and supervise all Store Managers. Oversee and manage the recruitment process for store staffing and ensure that all documentation is completed according to TSA HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals. Work with the Director of Operations to implement Product Control Procedures to prevent shrinkage through theft or spoilage.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the store and the organization, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective. Provide regular updates to the Director of Operations and other stakeholders on store performance and progress.
Requirements
  • Education: An associate's degree in business administration, retail sales, or marketing is preferred. 2 years of experience in staff management and development or a combination of education and experience is required.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License. Able to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army. Safe From Harm Trainer.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel. Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to become proficient in other proprietary software programs. Strong Excel skills are preferred.
Working Conditions

The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. May stand for extended periods. Full-time position; will require some weekend and evening work.
