Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration of high voltage components, including batteries, drive units, and cabling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure functional safety and failure avoidance analysis of complex electrical and software vehicle subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain hardware block diagrams, capturing all interactions and types.
  • Interface with teams to identify user stories and drive them from concept to production.
  • Own high voltage related requirements and work with hardware, software, architecture, safety, and other teams to verify requirements.
  • Lead high voltage bring up activities on all vehicle builds and serve as the point person for the program.
  • Develop and verify system level functions on multiple mediums, including benches, labcars, and vehicles.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially for electric vehicles.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for battery safety in global markets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years of academic or industry experience in electrified vehicles, electrified powertrain, high voltage battery design, electric vehicle charging systems.
