Position Overview:

The selected candidate will be instrumental in the development of firmware and control systems for high-voltage embedded applications, including battery management, charging, and motor control systems. This role involves extensive collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including electrical architecture, system integration, and platform software engineers, throughout all phases of program development.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of exceptional ability.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in embedded system design.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python or Embedded C/C++.
  • A collaborative approach and strong communication capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence or similar platforms for tracking progress and results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing low-level drivers and integrating Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Proficiency with software build tools such as Bazel, Scons, or CMake.
  • Knowledge of fundamental hardware components on PCBs and associated analysis tools.
  • Capability to create testing scripts using scripting languages, particularly Python.
  • Strong foundation in software principles, including design and maintainability.
  • Practical experience in hardware bring-up, system debugging, and code optimization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design and analysis.
