Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Essel. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Design: Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automation, including electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials.
  • PLC and HMI Programming: Program Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI's to control pumps, heaters, instrumentation, and other industrial equipment.
  • System Integration: Integrate electrical control systems with other industrial equipment and systems, including motion control devices and sensors.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Test and commission electrical control systems to ensure they meet specifications and are functioning properly.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate documentation of electrical control systems, including operation and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university or institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and developing electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automation.
  • Skills: Expert level knowledge in low, medium, and high voltage industrial electrical systems and HMI control systems, proficiency in programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI's, and experience with motion control devices and programming.
