Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Primary Care/Clinical Director to lead our clinical services at MIT Health Lexington. As a key leader onsite, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the quality of all clinical services, including training and supervision of clinical staff and licensed independent practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a cohesive staff development strategy for all Lexington employees, including clinical training and coaching in support of service line initiatives.
  • Maintain accountability for achieving goals and ensuring that clinical care and operations are in accordance with regulatory requirements, clinical operational guidelines, and standards of clinical care.
  • Lead patient care improvement initiatives and serve as a mentor and role model to all clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with other MIT Health leaders to redesign workflows and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective care delivery in alignment with MIT Health's priorities.
  • Manage schedule to ensure the appropriate balance between clinical time (80%) and administrative leadership (20%).
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of family medicine residency program with an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in family medicine.
  • Current basic life support (BLS) provider card.
  • Valid MA license, MA CSR, and federal DEA.
  • Clinical experience and demonstrated competence in primary care.
  • Clinical leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
