Job Summary

This position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Physician to join the Veterans Health Administration team. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, pharmacists, and specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Primary care experience, preferably in a VA setting.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty, such as family medicine or internal medicine.
