Position Overview: The selected candidate will provide comprehensive primary health care services to a diverse population, including students, faculty, staff, and retirees. This role encompasses both ambulatory medicine and on-call responsibilities, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver outpatient services for acute, chronic, and preventive health issues, managing a panel of primary care patients.
  • Clinical Duties: Conduct thorough physical examinations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Patient Education: Provide guidance on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options, fostering a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in departmental committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a U.S. residency program with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts and BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare delivery.

Work Environment: This position is based on-campus and may require occasional travel. The candidate must adhere to all health and safety protocols as mandated by the institution.
