Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Edgeline Technical Consultant to provide customization, security remediation, and performance optimization of EL8000 on-site in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have TS+SCI eligible clearance and be available to perform all services on customer premises in San Diego, CA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough assessment of current infrastructure, including network architecture, hardware configurations, and performance metrics.
  • Work with the team to deploy and configure Edgeline EL8000 devices, ensuring seamless integration with the customer's existing infrastructure.
  • Optimize configurations for performance, security, and scalability, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop a roadmap for integrating Edgeline EL8000 technologies in the customer environment.
  • Implement necessary technologies to prioritize critical applications and workloads.
  • Provide knowledge transfer sessions to empower Customer IT staff with the skills and expertise needed to manage and maintain Edgeline EL8000 environments effectively.
  • Fine-tune Edgeline EL8000 configurations to maximize throughput, reduce latency, and enhance overall network performance.
  • Implement STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guide), as directed, to safeguard against cyber threats.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with HPE Edgeline EL8000 / ProLiant e910 Server Blade
  • Service Support
  • HPE Edgeline EL8000, Server install & config onprem, Network performance optimization
  • Expert experience in Server install & config onprem of EL8000 or incloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Expert experience in Network Performance Optimization.
  • Trained in STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) processes & implementation in the US federal space.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communications and organizational skills as the resource will need to engage directly with various levels of customer and HPE teams.
