We are seeking a skilled Banner Technical Consultant to join our team at Strata Information Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the Ellucian Banner software suite and connected applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to implement Banner software solutions, leveraging your technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Banner software suite, providing innovative and effective solutions to clients' needs.
- Manage multiple clients and project requirements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and delivering timely solutions to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
- Design, write, and optimize SQL scripts, create Banner Financial Aid rules, establish integrations, and manage technical configurations for streamlined system functionality.
- 5+ years of experience in the Higher Education Industry.
- Expert knowledge of Banner technologies and PL/SQL, with solid experience coding in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy/Grails.
- Proficiency with database and IDE tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Eclipse, or IntelliJ.
- Familiarity with version control software like Git.
- Specific experience supporting the Banner Financial Aid module, including strong experience in coding the disbursement rules in Banner Financial Aid.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and solve problems effectively.
- Proven consulting skills with the ability to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service approach.
- Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and innovate with team members and clients.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience with Banner Extensibility tools and the Ellucian Ethos Platform.
- Demonstrated experience with data migration processes.
- Experience with Ellucian Insights and Experience.
- Proven experience integrating data from third-party applications with Banner.
- Experience in developing, designing, and implementing solutions using Banner Workflow.
- Experience implementing and supporting Banner Document Management or other imaging systems.
- Experience automating batch processes with Automic Applications Manager (UC4) or similar software.
- Experience in web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful Web Services.
- Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000.
