Job Summary:

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled VMware Zabbix Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of our VMware environment, including Zabbix monitoring and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable VMware environment
Configure and manage Zabbix monitoring and alerting systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching and upgrading VMware software
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VMware and Zabbix
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
8+ years of experience in VMware administration and Zabbix monitoring
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
Experience with Zabbix configuration and customization
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with virtualization platforms other than VMware
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services
