Job Title: Driver - Operations Coordinator

At Precision Castparts Corp, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Driver - Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and documenting the movement, status, and location of work-in-progress inventory, as well as transporting and tracking parts from one department to another.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verification, Transport, and Tracking: Verify and match part lots with paperwork, routing information, serial numbers, quantities, etc. before transporting lots to next department.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain neat, organized work areas, including cleaning floors, sweeping aisles, and keeping aisles free of parts and pallets.
  • Safety: Adhere to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identify and report safety problems, and complete logs and records.
Requirements:
  • Previous manufacturing floor experience or dispatching experience is preferred.
  • Basic ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
  • Ability to attend to detail, resolve record-keeping problems, and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds and occasionally up to seventy-five pounds.
  • Valid Drivers License required.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations. To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
