ROLE SUMMARY:
The Lead plays a pivotal role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience.

Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead serves as the in-store authority for their specific department.

This position is centered on delivering exceptional service to customers while guiding teammates effectively.

Key attributes include leading by example, demonstrating empathy, maintaining resilience in challenging situations, fostering optimism, and collaborating with colleagues.

Contributes to building a robust team by participating in in-store interviews and conducting department tours.

Fosters a people-first culture by engaging with every teammate to build mutual trust and respect, thereby enhancing the store's recognition culture.

Plans and organizes tasks 30 days in advance with the Assistant Store Manager, ensuring a strategic approach to daily assignments, projects, and store events.

Utilizes team members strategically to ensure adherence to brand standards, daily execution of programs and processes, and appropriate task delegation based on priority.

Maintains company merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory presentation, and replenishment.

Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Facilitates training for teammates on company protocols and programs, including onboarding new hires and cross-training existing staff.

Prioritizes coaching and development for oneself and others, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the rationale behind tasks and processes (e.g., Protection Plans, Scorecards, Loss Prevention).

Leads by example to support the organization’s vision and store objectives, helping teammates understand how their roles contribute to shared goals and an outstanding shopping experience.

Creates an inclusive environment where all individuals (teammates and customers) feel welcome, safe, and respected.

Adheres to established safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures, maintaining confidentiality of all company information.

Embraces a collaborative approach to support the team across the store.

Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Capability to work at heights exceeding 4 feet using ladders or aerial devices.

Ability to perform repetitive motions for short durations (up to 2 hours continuously).


Targeted Pay Range:
$19 - $27. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.
