As the second-in-command, you will significantly influence growth and success by achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering an exceptional customer experience, facilitating talent acquisition and development, overseeing visual merchandising, and managing operations while embodying Mejuri's core values.

You will be instrumental in fostering a retail environment centered around our clients, laying the groundwork for a thriving sales culture.

Your attention to detail regarding the customer journey and your proficiency in data-driven decision-making will set you apart.


Sales Responsibilities:
Assist in formulating store business strategies as outlined by the Store and District Manager.


Maximize outcomes and achieve KPIs by driving your performance and that of your team.

Cultivate business through client engagement, attracting new customers, and nurturing ongoing relationships.

Analyze weekly and monthly sales and product performance data, taking necessary actions to enhance sales results.

Implement changes to optimize product performance wherever feasible.

Enhance team sales performance through constructive feedback, coaching, and training.

Evaluate space productivity data and take measures to maximize efficiency and sales outcomes.

Gather customer insights and relay them to headquarters.

Support in-store marketing and promotional initiatives, ensuring high standards and effective cross-functional communication.


Lead local community events and manage the event submission process, aiming for a minimum of two events each fiscal quarter.


Elevate the in-store customer experience by training staff on Mejuri's sales techniques and fostering connections through the Mejuri Brand narrative.

Provide on-the-floor coaching to staff, demonstrating best practices in hosting, customer service, and product knowledge.

Champion an omnichannel business approach, consistently seeking opportunities to eliminate purchasing barriers and enhance customer experiences.


Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that insights and opportunities for improvement are communicated back to Mejuri headquarters as necessary.

Address and escalate customer complaints promptly.

Leadership Duties:
Assist the Store Manager in coaching and developing a service-oriented, high-performing team.

Participate in the hiring process for key team members within your store.

Foster strong collaborative relationships within your market and headquarters.

Engage in onboarding and training activities for new hires, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and goal achievement.

Clearly communicate expected standards and model desired behaviors, leading by example.

Support the Store Manager in monitoring employee relations matters, nurturing a positive work environment.

Contribute to reducing employee turnover by fostering a harmonious and stimulating workplace that enhances engagement.

Integrate Mejuri values into daily team activities.

Continuously network and build a candidate pipeline for current and future openings.

Ensure team compliance with Mejuri policies and procedures.

Operational Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance of visual and operational standards alongside the leadership team.

Assist with store scheduling, applying labor optimization practices to enhance customer experience.


Collaborate with the store team to identify opportunities for improving daily operations (e.g., systems, processes).

Communicate with headquarters as appropriate.

Manage inventory of office and cleaning supplies, placing orders as necessary through our supply vendor.

Guide the team in preparing for and conducting stock takes efficiently.

Report any store-related issues to headquarters, including maintenance, cleaning, and safety concerns.

Oversee the security of the store, products, and team, escalating any issues to headquarters.

Qualifications:
Experience in a leadership role within retail, sales, or customer service.

Understanding of local market challenges and requirements relevant to new store openings.
