About the Role

Woods Services is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Response Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Response Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing immediate and timely crisis intervention services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate consumers and determine if additional psychological, psychiatric, or clinical services are required.
  • Activate the on-call Master's Level Clinician for additional support when necessary.
  • Demonstrate competency in culturally appropriate care, trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques, suicide assessment, and safety planning.
  • Participate in CPR and First Aid training and perform techniques as needed.
  • Complete annual Agency trainings and job-related trainings determined by position.
  • Travel using agency vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
About the Program

The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams program operates throughout Burlington County and Mercer County, providing mobile crisis outreach response services for adults through the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

As a Crisis Response Specialist, you will work as part of a team to provide crisis assessment and support services in the community, with the goal of preventing hospitalization and law enforcement intervention when possible.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution, plus two years of post-bachelor's professional experience.
  • Or, bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution, with three years of post-bachelor's professional experience in a mental health field.
