Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented professional to join the Global Colleague Services Organization within the Colleague Experience Group as a Payroll Processing Specialist. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and quality of payroll operations. The specialist will be part of a team responsible for managing complex payroll issues from start to finish, ensuring resolution through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll transactions.
  • Communicate complex payroll processes in clear, understandable terms.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing.
  • Lead and support various US Payroll projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
  • Conduct data analysis and offer proactive solutions.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Perform daily file maintenance and payroll system entries.
  • Oversee HR import template updates.
  • Participate in system release testing and validation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous payroll experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MyInfo and Dayforce is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
  • Understanding of payroll tax regulations and policies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to US Payroll Platforms.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and deliver results effectively.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across different time zones.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to convey project updates and resolve issues.
  • Experience with Cloud/API technologies is highly desirable.
  • Data mining experience is a plus.
