Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Family Farm and Home. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for managing the store in the absence of the store manager and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store in the absence of the store manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and merchandise presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement store policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, including promotions, discounts, and special events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
