About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. As a key member of our Department of Ophthalmology, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians and sub-specialists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to physicians and sub-specialists in the Department of Ophthalmology, including performing various tests such as angiographic and photographic tests.
  • Interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner, promoting patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures, maintain laboratory stock and cleaning, and order supplies as needed.
  • Perform delegated procedures in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, and assist with other duties as assigned by the Physician, Supervisor, or Manager.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in an ophthalmology role; previous experience in ophthalmic photography a plus.
  • Certification as a Retinal Angiographer when eligible.
