Position Summary:

The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in our service department by coordinating service appointments and effectively communicating necessary services to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage service appointment scheduling and gather customer and vehicle information prior to their arrival.
  • Welcome customers promptly and courteously, utilizing digital tools for efficiency.
  • Conduct a thorough customer walk-around to ensure all service needs are identified.
  • Provide detailed and accurate written and digital Multipoint Inspection reports along with cost estimates for labor and parts, while establishing expected completion times.
  • Monitor repair progress throughout the day, keeping customers informed of any changes to estimates or timelines, and obtaining necessary approvals for additional work.
  • Perform test drives or coordinate with technicians as needed.
  • Maintain a Customer Satisfaction Index rating that meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Encourage customer feedback through reviews on various platforms.
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and the importance of adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and report any incidents immediately.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a dealership environment.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems.
  • ASE certification is preferred.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
