Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee warehouse operations and develop effective procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory with designated stock locations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse facilities.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Manage the logistics of automotive products both domestically and internationally, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Inspect incoming parts for compliance with specifications and damage.
  • Reconcile purchase invoices and liaise with suppliers for stock procurement.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure readiness for supply and demand.
  • Conduct bi-annual stock audits and manage warranty returns.
  • Coordinate the collection and delivery of goods with courier services.
  • Issue parts to the workshop team and manage invoicing for completed jobs.

Customer Engagement:

  • Facilitate the sale of automotive parts through online platforms.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Ensure payment collection prior to dispatching goods.
  • Manage customer expectations and keep management informed of significant issues.

Systems Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, customers, suppliers, and sales in the company database.

Supplier Relations:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers for necessary items.
  • Review supplier accounts for invoice accuracy and compliance.
  • Resolve supplier disputes and liaise with legal teams when necessary.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with general site maintenance and operational issues as needed.
  • Occasionally work off-site at customer locations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics and distribution.
  • Experience with international logistics, including customs regulations.
  • Certifications in OSHA, First Aid, and Forklift Operation are preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs safely.
  • Progressive experience in staff management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Knowledge of shipping systems for automotive goods.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
