Position Summary: Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Organization, the MPS and S&OP Planner will oversee the medium and long-term planning processes, ensuring optimal service levels while balancing production capacity and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the medium-term planning process (3-12 weeks) and long-term capacity outlook (rolling 12 months), focusing on service level targets and inventory optimization.
  • Develop production planning strategies that align with established standards, including inventory policies and lead times, to create a feasible medium-term production plan.
  • Support the S&OP process and participate in demand review meetings to address demand volatility and capacity settings.
  • Construct the production plan to align with demand forecasts and orders, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory levels.
  • Identify and address internal capacity bottlenecks, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Validate new product introduction (NPI) manufacturing programs and ensure effective communication of production volumes and capacity requirements.
  • Monitor service levels, manage customer sales order confirmations, and coordinate supply chain logistics to mitigate service risks.
  • Engage in weekly reviews with operational teams to ensure alignment and identify improvement opportunities.
Job Activities:
  • Participate in customer demand reviews with the Demand Planner to identify significant variations.
  • Lead the Plant SOP Process, analyzing performance deviations and establishing action plans with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the Master Production Scheduling (MPS) process, ensuring alignment with demand and capacity.
  • Manage production priorities and compile weekly production schedules, analyzing adherence and root causes of deviations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to confirm delivery dates and communicate any potential delays.
  • Review material shortages and collaborate with procurement planners to meet demand effectively.
  • Determine optimal inventory levels to achieve desired service levels in a hybrid production environment.
  • Identify trends and implement corrective actions to enhance planning processes.
Qualifications:

Mandatory: Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.

Preferred: Master's degree in Supply Chain or Production, APICS CPIM certification, and project management certification.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in planning or supply chain roles, with a strong understanding of MPS and S&OP processes.

This position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams to achieve organizational goals.
