Key Duties:
Employee Relations:
- Act as the main resource for employee relations matters, offering support and advice to both employees and management.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and disputes, ensuring the fair application of company policies.
- Promote a positive workplace atmosphere through effective communication and resolution techniques.
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process.
- Design and implement strategies for talent acquisition to attract and retain high-caliber professionals.
- Assist in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster employee development.
Leadership Training:
- Assess leadership training needs and create programs to enhance management skills across the organization.
- Offer guidance to supervisors on effective leadership practices and employee management.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at promoting leadership skills and ongoing improvement.
HR Administration:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain precise and current employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee benefits management, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefits to staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources, focusing on employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership training.
- Experience in a manufacturing context is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with PeopleSoft is essential.
