About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Design Engineer to join our team at Consor Engineers. As a key member of our transportation planning group, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and development of local, county, and state roadway and highway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections for transportation projects.
  • Support the design team in the creation of design documentation, plans, and reports for specific tasks and quantity calculations.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Perform engineering calculations and estimates to inform project decisions.
  • Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering to support design analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum four years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
