Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure group, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing municipal transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with multi-disciplinary technical teams to develop comprehensive plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for roadway projects.
  • Manage work programs, project schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide excellent client service and develop productive, long-term relationships with clients, peers, and management.
  • Write technical memoranda, engineering reports, and planning studies to support project development and delivery.
  • Develop and deliver complete design and project bid packages to meet client needs.
  • Provide construction support and assist with business development and winning new projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant civil engineering experience, including project management experience on roadway projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington state.
  • Experience managing municipal or public-sector projects, including state, county, city, and federal projects.
  • Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive, long-term relationships with clients, peers, and management.
  • Proven experience with comprehensive PS&E delivery and project management.
