About the Position:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for identifying and eliminating waste and inefficiencies within production operations. This role involves designing effective systems that integrate personnel, information, machinery, energy, and materials to produce high-quality products. The engineer will also create equipment layouts to streamline production planning, reduce operational costs, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct time study analyses utilizing stopwatch techniques and MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) to establish labor standards for product costing and routing times.
- Analyze production schedules, process flows, engineering specifications, and orders to gain insights into manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Develop design and production standards that enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and adhere to quality control benchmarks in collaboration with management and staff.
- Estimate production costs and assess cost-saving strategies, as well as the impact of design changes on expenditures for management review.
- Draft and design layouts for equipment, materials, and workspaces to illustrate optimal efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and technological advancements, designing control systems to mitigate production issues and manage project costs.
- Coordinate quality control objectives and procedures to address production challenges, enhance product reliability, and reduce costs.
- Provide training to management and staff on both new and existing processes, creating work instructions and manuals for reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards while adhering to design guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing context.
- Proficient knowledge of production processes, cost management, quality control, and methods for optimizing manufacturing and distribution efficiency.
- Advanced understanding of machinery and tools, including their design, usage, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with precision technical plans, blueprints, and models.
- Ability to understand system interactions and the implications of operational changes on outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide and train others to enhance production processes.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as relevant design/drafting software.
