Compensation Range: In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Final salary will be influenced by various factors including relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location.

Work Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is not eligible for remote work.

Additional Compensation: This role qualifies for an annual performance bonus.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance to the Bluestaq team and resolve hardware and software challenges.
  • Ensure the security and dependability of the organization's network and systems.
  • Oversee and maintain the company's servers, databases, and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Assist in the acquisition, installation, and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware and software as necessary.
  • Offer training and support to end-users regarding technology-related matters.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in networking concepts and troubleshooting with demonstrated experience in network engineering.
  • Experience with Azure and Office 365 administration tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office, and other standard business applications.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and best practices.
  • Understanding of various security protocols and concepts, including RBAC, the CIA triad, and the principle of least privilege.
  • Experience in server management, networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with automation and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and interest in working with new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to articulate the scope and status of work, including identifying roadblocks.
  • Proactive in seeking clarification and asking questions.
  • Demonstrates a balance between persistence and seeking assistance when needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with server management.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
  • Familiarity with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework.

Educational Background: 5+ years of experience in systems administration/information technology with an Associate degree, or a High School Diploma/GED with 2 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. US Citizenship is required, and candidates must agree to undergo a background check and credit assessment.

Relocation Policy: This position does not provide relocation assistance. Candidates are expected to reside in the local area or manage their own relocation expenses.
