Compensation Range: In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Final salary will be influenced by various factors including relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and user-focused Corporate IT Systems Administrator to enhance our operations. This role involves managing the company's IT systems and infrastructure, providing technical assistance to colleagues, and ensuring timely resolution of technology-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support to the Bluestaq team and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Ensure the security and dependability of the organization's network and systems.
  • Oversee and maintain the company's servers, databases, and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Assist in the acquisition, installation, and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to comply with industry standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on IT infrastructure as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on technology-related matters.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with Azure and Office 365 administration tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, and other common business applications.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and concepts, including RBAC and the CIA triad.
  • Experience in server management, networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in automation and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Desire to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to articulate project scope and status, including identifying obstacles.
  • Proactive in seeking clarification and asking questions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with server management.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
  • Familiarity with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework.

Educational Background: 5+ years of experience in systems administration or information technology with an Associate degree, or a High School Diploma/GED with 2 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, and candidates must agree to undergo a background check and credit evaluation.
