Office Manager/Receptionist

The Office of Institutional Advancement at Hunter College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/Receptionist to join our team. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily office operations while providing exceptional front-line support to alumni, donors, and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities- Office Management: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in administrative processes.
- Reception and Customer Service: Serve as the department's main contact point, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Administrative Support: Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Data and Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of departmental activities, including alumni and donor interactions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in office management and receptionist roles; experience in a higher education or nonprofit environment is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Hunter College offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition waivers for CUNY graduate study.
