The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing seasonal menus, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a team of cooks, dishwashers, and other kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement seasonal menus in collaboration with the Chef/Owner
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's standards
  • Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to achieve high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and a calm demeanor
  • Proven experience in a comparable role
  • Strong seasonal food and beverage knowledge
  • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Suite and MICROS POS
  • ServSafe Food Handler Manager certification
