Job Summary:
St. Paul's School is seeking a highly skilled and certified Life Safety Specialist to provide aquatic security and safety services in our large-scale facility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Athletic Facilities Coordinator to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide life safety coverage for the pool and surrounding areas
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students and staff in and around the pool
- React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures and rescue skills
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential physical and academic duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Language Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current Red Cross lifeguard certification and CPR for Professional Rescuer/First Aid certification required.
Physical Demands:
Able to pass the Red Cross Pretest for Lifeguard Certification. Must be a strong swimmer.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Available Shifts:
Wednesday and Friday 6:00am - 7:30am
Sundays 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Shifts may be available Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
