Job Opportunity: Lifeguard

We are seeking part-time lifeguards to join our team at Cowell Homeowners Association, Inc. for the summer swim season.

Job Summary: As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our pool patrons during swim team practices and open swim sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool area for potential hazards and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a lifeguard through the Red Cross or similar organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions: This is an outdoor pool position, and lifeguards will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits: $20/hour, paid twice a month.

Duration: The job will start on June 6th and last until the first week in September.
