Job Summary: The YMCA of Concord is seeking a Lifeguard to provide pool safety and emergency response services. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and responding to emergency situations in the pool area.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and consistently apply safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool area.
  • Maintain effective, positive relationships with members, participants, and other team members.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations in the pool area.
  • Maintain accurate pool records as required by the YMCA and state/local Health Department code.
  • Perform equipment checks and ensure appropriate equipment is available as needed.

Requirements:

  • FLEXIBLE scheduling available - easy to schedule around school or other jobs.
  • Shifts available during weekdays and weekends, including mornings, daytimes, and evenings.
  • Current Lifeguard Certification or ability to obtain via one of our FREE certification courses.

Salary: $14 - $17hr and commensurate with experience.
