Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and evaluate general ledgers for designated properties.
  • Collaborate closely with property managers to resolve issues and provide support.
  • Ensure accurate billing of rents and proper accounting of revenue and lease expenses in compliance with GAAP.
  • Maintain financial records in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee timely and precise monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax returns.
  • Support the analysis and review of monthly variances against budgeted figures on profit and loss statements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Proficient in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables; familiarity with Yardi is advantageous.
