Business Development Associate - Hospitality Sales and Recruitment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team at HMG Plus, Inc. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and closing new business to drive revenue growth for our temporary staffing and permanent placement divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development, strategic marketing, and revenue growth strategy for our NYC and Chicago-based business
  • Work closely with the President, and Vice President, and Recruitment Manager on agency growth initiatives
  • Lead in developing marketing material, pitch content, and RFP correspondence and procedure
  • Identify and secure new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings, and other methods
  • Manage client follow-up to gather feedback and maximize new business closings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of business development or sales experience in the hospitality or staffing industry preferred
  • 3+ years of experience conducting sales cold calls, this is a very phone-heavy position
  • Experience responding to RFPs and developing unique pitch presentations according to client needs
  • Experience developing strategic marketing content and material
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented personality with a demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle a pitch load of up to 10 clients at a time
  • Project management experience a plus
Benefits and Compensation:
  • $60,000-$70,000 + uncapped commission on revenue-qualified new business accounts
