Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation and startup of machines at customer locations
  • Maintain working components as determined by customer needs
  • Perform electrical fault functions on customer machinery
  • Travel to customer locations for machine commissioning and warranty work
  • Assist with machine debug and run-off on our floor
  • Train other employees and/or customers on machines
  • Prepare service reports on jobs in the field
Requirements:
  • College degree in electrical engineering or 2-3 years of technical experience in manufacturing automation, material handling, and/or machine control
  • Product component level knowledge, programming experience, and PLC experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • No visible tattoos
Work Environment:

The Field Service Controls Technician will work in a traditional shop atmosphere, subject to temperature variance based on season, and may be exposed to various fumes or smells based on the job. The position requires extensive travel throughout North America and some international travel.
