Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation and startup of machines at customer sites
  • Maintain working components as determined by customer needs
  • Perform field trouble shooting on warranty and repair orders
  • Review jobs in the shop for possible field service problems
  • Perform electrical fault functions on customer machinery, including PLC
  • Work in various software systems
  • Assist with machine debug and run off on our floor
  • Train other employees and/or customers on machines
  • Prepare service reports on jobs in the field
  • Assist Field Service Supervisor as required
Requirements:
  • College degree in electrical engineering or 2-3 years of technical experience in manufacturing automation, material handling, and/or machine control
  • Product component level knowledge, programming experience, and PLC experience
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • No visible tattoos
Work Environment:

Traditional shop atmosphere with temperature variance based on season. Loud noise level. May be exposed to various fumes or smells based on job.

Travel:

Extensive travel throughout North America to customer job sites for start-ups, machine commissioning, and warranty work as dictated by project. Some international travel required.
