Job Title: Field Service Controls Technician

As a Field Service Controls Technician with Cleaning Technologies Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machines at customer sites. Your expertise in electrical automation and machine controls will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and startup of machines at customer sites, ensuring all working components are properly maintained.
  • Travel to customer locations to supervise the installation of our machines and perform startup procedures.
  • Perform field troubleshooting on both warranty and repair orders, utilizing your knowledge of electrical automation and machine controls.
  • Review jobs in the shop to identify potential field service problems and take corrective action.
  • Assist in the training of other employees and customers on machine operation and maintenance.
  • Prepare service reports on jobs completed in the field.

Requirements:

  • Two-year college degree or trade school certificate in electrical engineering and/or 2-3 years of technical experience in manufacturing automation, material handling, and/or machine control.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical automation and machine controls, including PLC diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel frequently.

Work Environment:

Our Field Service Controls Technicians work in a traditional shop atmosphere, with occasional travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a team environment.
