About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Philadelphia Brewing Company. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team and ensure the smooth operation of food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our management team to ensure consistency of product and identify potential issues.
  • Develop relationships with vendors to maximize profits and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Requirements
  • 7 or more years of experience in kitchen management.
  • Proven track record of menu creation, recipe writing, and coaching/training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products and HotSchedules.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure; meet deadlines and ticket time goals.
