About the Role

At FactoryFix, we are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies and other products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Provide technical support to engineers on moderately complex components, devices, material, products, processes, and equipment.
  • Responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Work from moderately complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time, and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Perform Key Performance Indicators:
    • Meet production deadlines
    • Quality of finished product (Pass/fail rates)
    • Raw material stock levels
    • Compliance outcomes
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

Requirements

  • Requires an associate's degree and 2+ years of experience in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have good mechanical skills.
  • Soldering and wire bonding experience, preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of various test equipment.
  • Must pay close attention to details.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety and procedural rules.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of and ability to use computers, programs, and business tools.
  • Experience utilizing computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview, preferred.
  • MRP experience, preferred.
  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
