About the Role

The Executive Chef is a highly visible role within the hotel's Executive Committee, with exposure to senior and corporate leadership. This position reports directly to the hotel General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead kitchen operations, including menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and sanitation.
  • Direct the training of culinary staff and other kitchen workers to ensure efficient and profitable food service.
  • Develop and maintain high culinary standards, with a focus on creativity, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business results.
  • Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt's service standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of progressive hotel culinary experience, preferably with Hyatt.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain open communication with corporate staff and drive business results.
