Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Ryman Hospitality Properties. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, inventory management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
